The execution schedule of this Plan is from July 13, 2012 to July 12, 2013, and each job has been successfully completed within the scheduled time. In each season, we collected the river-related drawings of the Wushi River (Tadu River) and Juoshui River and conducted a relevant field patrol inspection in order to understand the distribution size and changing status of the exposed river area. In addition, we also compiled the “River Dust Diffusing Emergency Response SOP” according to the characteristics of the rivers and air quality in this county. Based on the said procedure, we completed the implementation of a pre-alarm, notification, and information report platform for monitoring the density of the river dust diffusing suspensions by automatic method. When reaching the set density, the information platform will transmit the text and e-mail automatically to execute the pre-alarm notification function. To reinforce the horizontal communication between the folks and the competent local authority, this year we sponsored 4 rounds of education/dissemination activities, 4 rounds of field exercises, and 2 sessions of prevention operation communication meeting. Further, we also produced a 30-second dissemination film and it has been broadcasted on cable TV for 2 months in this county with a hope to enhance the folk’s recognition and protection for the rive diffusing dust. In addition, we also launched the environment cleaning work in townships affected by the diffusing dust during the booming season of dust diffusion. In result, a length of 4,210.70 kilometers was executed and it is expected that some 10.92 tons of PM10 could be reduced.
